Agate Hunters MN is a small private group of rock (agate) collecting enthusiast located in Minnesota and Wisconsin which was recently established in 2025. We strive to create lasting working relationships with fellow land owners in our surrounding areas to help fuel our rock hounding adventures while helping to grown our hobby and passion with the next generation of up-and-coming rockhounds. We do not buy or sell our rocks for profit, we are not a business. However, we do offer financial compensation typically on per acre basis to help incentives the opportunity to walk properties seasonally at the owners discretion!

Do you have land we can walk?
RATES to rockhound
$3-$10 per acre to start (traditionally)
$20-$40 per acre for fields with heavy deposits and or proven results.
*Land conditions we preferer are seasonally tilled farmland or fields with heavily exposed river style rock (round pebble) with no traditional foot traffic or picking/collecting previously. Rates depend on location and acreage available, but all fees will be agreed upon and paid in full prior to the visit. Thank you for your consideration!
